Maps & Drafts Collection

Geography has been the primary tool for the study of Asia Minor since the establishment of the Centre for Asia Minor Studies. The Cartographic Service of the Centre, which was established in 1937 by Melpo Merlier with the participation of specialised scientific personnel, designed and archived the maps by region. In addition to the unpublished draft maps designed upon the request of the Centre, the Archive also contains a significant number of printed maps.
